Music Teachers/Associates

(Full-time/Part-time)


We are looking for energetic, dynamic and self-driven musicians with the following qualities:

Requirements:
  • Possess deep knowledge in classical and pop music
  • Possess at least ABRSM Grade 8 certification (higher qualifications would be advantageous) in any musical discipline, perferably piano, keyboard, violin, guitar and/or ukulele.
  • Experience in school management
  • Possess good command of English with at least GCE 'O' or 'N' level pass
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and the use of smart tablets such as the iPad
  • A Singapore citizenship or permanant residency (PR) status would be advantangeous.
Compensation will be commensurated with qualifications and experience.



Research Partners


Are you a music teacher with strong interests in developing music content and curriculum on smart tablet platforms such as the iPad, and is always adventurously looking out for new innovative ways to deliver and consume music content in today's digital age? If you have a vision, realise that vision and join us as a SummerNotes Research Partner today!

Pre-requisites:
  • Must either be a current SummerNotes Music Teacher or Associate with a minimum number of teaching hours in SummerNotes; or have previously taught in SummerNotes and understands very well our school culture and teaching philosophy.
  • Provide a short writeup of your ideas on the type of music content (which you have interests in developing or have already developed) that you believe will have unique market-able strengths on popular online application stores and/or bookstores (such as the App Store or iBookstore)
Our partners will potentially become authors of our future interactive book titles. A separate agreement will be worked out on the revenue/dividend sharing model.


Program Administrator
(Full-time/Part-time)


Your primary role is to communicate effectively with existing and potential customers about our school's courses, services, products and policies. On-the-job training will be provided. You are also expected to be proficient in making phone calls, arranging lesson timings for both customers and teachers, simple book keeping, and other administrative and operational work arising from the needs of the school's daily operations.

Requirements:
  • GCE 'O' or 'N' level passes in the English and Mathematics subjects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and the use of smart tablets such as the iPad
  • Willing to learn new software (we use our own in-house SummerNotes proprietary software for lesson scheduling, stock take, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship skills.
  • Applicants with basic knowledge in music will have an advantage.
  • A Singapore citizenship or permanant residency (PR) status would be advantangeous.
  • Senior citizens are most welcomed to apply.
Compensation will be commensurated with qualifications and experience.
